<p>Assignment : Do rules and limitations contribute to a person's happiness? </p>
<p>In a world of chaos, renegade people, or trouble-makers, rules are there to circumvent immoral actions. Imagine a nation without penalties : people would murder and steal for their own good, break traffic signals and marginalize others to get to a certain location. In fact, rules provide a peace, stable life. Nevertheless, rules declared by governments can sometimes be oppressive. Plus, no matter how a democratic country tries to be fair, there will always be oppressions. </p>
<p>President elections are events that prove that rules not necessarily contribute to happiness. All democratic republics have the rule of electing the president with the highest votes, majority. Even though it's a rule that is dubbed as "fair", it fails to satisfy the minority, those who didn't want the elected president. As a result, today minorities go into rancor actions which creates chaos in the country"s streets. Finally, elections is a rule that doesn't provide happiness for minorities that create belligerent conditions with the majority.</p>
<p>The famous story of Rosa Park is also a considerable example of oppressing rules. At the time, the nation pitted black people and oppressed them. The rule was as follows: bus seats were reserved for white people, so a black man better give his seat to the white one otherwise he'll be in jail. Rosa Park couldn't follow such an unfair rule! Because she refused to give up her seat, she was taken to jail. Rosa Park influenced the whole world by her self-esteem and bravery. Today, this rule is regarded as a limitation that could never contribute to happiness. </p>
<p>Hence, Rules are declared by the highest authorities who are still human beings! Humans can't reach full fairness to over billions of people. Unless rules don't exonerate minorities in favor of others, rules can always keep the peace.</p>
