How can I improve to a 32? My lowest marks were in the science section(26) and the math section(27). Which book would you recommend to achieve my goal? Thanks. BTW, the ACT was a practice ACT from the red book.

Is it possible to increase my score to a 32 by the September test?

To obtain a higher score the next time you take the ACT, you would have to answer more questions correctly than you did when you took it last time.

lol^

do a bunch of practice tests. what math class are you in now?

My ds scored a 28 last March. He retook it in June and scored a 32. He took all of the practice tests he could get his hands on. It especially helped with the science. He thought the practice tests really helped helped him get the timing down. He did 1 section of a practice test each weeknight for about 5 weeks before the test. The 4 days before the test he took a whole test in 1 sitting.

I’m currently taking trigonometry.

I wish more ACT practice tests were available. The SAT has 20 full tests, whereas the ACT has just 7. I only took one practice ACT test because I want to conserve the rest for the summer.

You should get the Princeton Review ACT books. Both Cracking the ACT and 1296 questions.
The math is a little bit on the easier side, but it’s not too bad. Barron’s math is kinda unrepresentative of the actual ACT’s, so I wouldn’t recommend that book. Barron’s is just really freaking hard to be honest.
