SDSU 2022 Transfers

I take no credit for finding this link, another poster pointed the way, but this is great data on who was admitted and what institution they came from. Scroll over to the transfer tab. You can figure out how many admits in each major were local by looking up each of the local community colleges that have a transfer guarantee.

Yes, I was aware of that link, but I hadnā€™t played around with it very much. The loading time each time you click something takes forever.

But, yes, you can see that in 2021, for instance, about 64% of the business major enrollments were from community colleges in San Diego County, but about 80% of the engineering major enrollments and about 93% of the biological science major enrollments were from community colleges in San Diego County.

Yes, and not every major takes TAG. The ones that do not take TAG level the playing field throughout the state.

Does anyone have an idea as to when admissions will be out? Itā€™s mid-March already and Iā€™m getting more anxious LOL

Iā€™m hoping theyā€™ll start rolling out this week, but Iā€™m honestly not sure. Fingers crossed!

I believe that some transfers have already heard back. ADT transfers, including myself, seem to be the main group that hasnā€™t heard back yet. Today was the ADT deadline though, so Iā€™m expecting a decision any day now. Best of luck!

I donā€™t have ADT, so thatā€™s why Iā€™m anxious now LOL. but thank you! good luck to you too

Iā€™m sure youā€™ll be fine. Some ADTā€™s have heard back already and some non-ADTā€™s havenā€™t. I was just referring to the general pattern Iā€™ve noticed. You got this!

I looked back at last years transfer thread and a lot of people got their admissions on the 18th and 19 which was a Thursday and Friday last year. So maybe we have to either wait until the end of this week or maybe they will roll decisions out next week.

I know, hoping weā€™ll begin hearing back today!

I just hope they tell us already I think when they take too long its because they arenā€™t going to accept us anymore but Im getting paranoid

I applied as an adt psychology major and it still says pending.

Does anyone know where we can find the Financial Aid offer for SDSU transfers? I donā€™t see it in my portal.

Iā€™m a transfer and still havenā€™t heard and I am freaking out. I feel like itā€™s just going to be a rejection since some people have already heard back but Iā€™m trying not to get in my head.

Donā€™t worry thereā€™s soo many transfers that havenā€™t heard back, keep your head up high!

I believe theyā€™re hoping to get most admission decisions out this week, but we could potentially not hear anything till the last day of march. Itā€™s unfortunately just a waiting game now.
