I take no credit for finding this link, another poster pointed the way, but this is great data on who was admitted and what institution they came from. Scroll over to the transfer tab. You can figure out how many admits in each major were local by looking up each of the local community colleges that have a transfer guarantee.
Yes, I was aware of that link, but I hadnāt played around with it very much. The loading time each time you click something takes forever.
But, yes, you can see that in 2021, for instance, about 64% of the business major enrollments were from community colleges in San Diego County, but about 80% of the engineering major enrollments and about 93% of the biological science major enrollments were from community colleges in San Diego County.
Yes, and not every major takes TAG. The ones that do not take TAG level the playing field throughout the state.
Does anyone have an idea as to when admissions will be out? Itās mid-March already and Iām getting more anxious LOL
Iām hoping theyāll start rolling out this week, but Iām honestly not sure. Fingers crossed!
I believe that some transfers have already heard back. ADT transfers, including myself, seem to be the main group that hasnāt heard back yet. Today was the ADT deadline though, so Iām expecting a decision any day now. Best of luck!
I donāt have ADT, so thatās why Iām anxious now LOL. but thank you! good luck to you too
Iām sure youāll be fine. Some ADTās have heard back already and some non-ADTās havenāt. I was just referring to the general pattern Iāve noticed. You got this!
I looked back at last years transfer thread and a lot of people got their admissions on the 18th and 19 which was a Thursday and Friday last year. So maybe we have to either wait until the end of this week or maybe they will roll decisions out next week.
I know, hoping weāll begin hearing back today!
I just hope they tell us already I think when they take too long its because they arenāt going to accept us anymore but Im getting paranoid
Does anyone know where we can find the Financial Aid offer for SDSU transfers? I donāt see it in my portal.
Iām a transfer and still havenāt heard and I am freaking out. I feel like itās just going to be a rejection since some people have already heard back but Iām trying not to get in my head.
Donāt worry thereās soo many transfers that havenāt heard back, keep your head up high!
thanks that made me feel better haha
I just called the admissions office and they told me to expect an update within the next week for adt transfers!
Anyone know when decisions will be out this week? Iām losing my patience hahah
I believe theyāre hoping to get most admission decisions out this week, but we could potentially not hear anything till the last day of march. Itās unfortunately just a waiting game now.
Any news anyone? The waiting game is so exhausting
