Received email yesterday saying my appeal was approved and I was excepted. Notification by mail will follow in the next few day’s. Wish you all the best and go AZTECS.

I got a letter in the mail three days ago: DENIED. I received no correspondence other than the letter, and nothing changed on my admissions status page. My case was clearly not based on merit or aptitude, so not only am I disappointed, I am troubled and concerned as to what other factors hold ground in these decisions.

@vballgal I sent my appeal in on April 11 ( my deadline was the 13th )
@SKYWALKER182 I’m so sorry, SDSU’s admissions don’t make sense at all, for both freshmen or transfers in my opinion. I’ve heard also that if the major you’re applying to is filled, they won’t even consider you. And since they take people from the waitlist before appeals it seems possible. Either way I’m sorry it didn’t work out with SDSU but I hope it works out for you somewhere else

First week in March. My appeal was for Reevaluation of my Application. Contacted the Ombudsman, who contacted Admissions and had a answer within 24 hours.
@vballgal my major is communications (liberal arts, not applied comm. )
