<p>i just got my acceptance today! im a transfer though (not nearby, in sacramento actually) and i have a 3.44gpa and all my prereqs and major (business) prep courses done.</p>
<p>You can definitely give it second shot with SDSU, but it will cost you more money. My old high school friend applied to UCLA as a freshman, but was rejected. She contacted the admissions office and asked if she can reapply. They gave her a second chance to apply, but again, was rejected. Her chances were done deal. </p>
<p>My opinion, even though you're not asking for it, is that I don't think you should put your time into this if you already got accepted to your top choice schools. But IF you didn't get accepted, then yah you should - just in case. </p>
<p>So, just call up the admissions at SDSU and ask them that and how much it will cost you. </p>

Good luck Grassymeadow! i just put my major as bus. admin with a focus on marketing. im pretty sure that you will hear very soon. i checked this morning at around noon and it said still pending but then i checked a few hours later and there it was so you can definately expect it at anytime</p>

<p>Jaycasa, I'm applying for the same Major for SDSU however my GPA is 3.0. I'll have all requirements met by Spring 2009. I received the same "all spots are all allocated" letter a few days after i read my deniel on sdsu.edu. Everyone tells me to still send in a letter of appeal, and of course I'm going to do so, but do I still have a chance? Have others written letters of appeals and received admission?</p>
<p>2001FireBird, well I went to the open house at SDSU on the 21st and I went to the School of Public affairs, criminal justice, public admin., and urban studies, and what they said and at the transfer workshop also was that the average/minimum gpa for out of area cc transfers(I believe for all majors) was 3.3 because so many people applied. Here's what I remember</p>

2300ish cc transfer slots out of the 7,000
only about 250 slots for out of area cc transfers, outside of SD obviously</p>
<p>so they kept saying that they were accepting the minimum of 3.3 for out of area transfers</p>
<p>I don't know if your an out of area transfer, but this year was very competitive and a strong GPA above a 3.3, atleast criminal justice, was needed. Other majors I heard their GPA avg. was 3.8 not sure</p>
