I am a high school senior and have recently been accepted to San Diego State University for business and Cal Poly Slo for Graphic Communications. I want to major in business, and would have to switch after my first semester at Slo, however, i have heard that switching majors between colleges at slo is extremely difficult. I’ve been told that SDSU business is pretty good, and i have toured the school and love it!
I am waiting on UCI, UCSB, and UCSD for business economics, but i am more interested in business marketing, so i feel that SDSU would be the best fit for me.
Any information on CSU Business vs UC economics would be helpful, as well as any recommendations. Also, any info on the campus life at Sdsu, Slo, and the UCs would be helpful.

Cal Poly use to be a great school. The administration has embraced the PC set. The President brought in east coast leftist lawyer to ‘manage’ any student issues.No trial, no fair hearing, you will get you tossed out if lawyer says so. Free speech died, rights died, justice died a couple of years ago.
Plus, in the city, if anyone calls the police to your residence for any noise -related call, the City fines you or the landlord $2000. Leases all pass the cost on (plus $500), and you are evicted. The landlords stack the city counsel and the students are seen as just rich kids ripe for plucking.
Before signing up, visit the school and the town. Ask HARD questions about housing, student policies, and the lack of diversity in speech… and see if you agree with the prevailing politics.
Graphics com is good, but check out the jobs for graduates first. Actual job titles and companies.
For business, you want a CSU.
Switching majors at SLO is not easy but definitely can be done. Here is a link to changing majors.
You need to be qualified at time your application for the new major so if your MCA score was not high enough to get into the School of Business, you may not be able to switch. SDSU is an excellent option since you have already been admitted into the major.
