I’m sorry… I guess what I meant is everybody not accepted getting waitlisted? I haven’t heard of anyone who was directly “rejected”… just curious
My DD is OOS and she was accepted early (Mid December)… But there are lots of kids who haven’t heard yet so fingers crossed!
Has anyone had their application status date changed?
It says early march
D’s still shows Pending. Early march notification.

@WAgirl12349 when?
@kbutter1234 what did they change the date to?
I heard from @kimmmberly123 that her application status date changed. My date is still the same date as the date I submitted my CSU application.
same^ my application status date is still the same as i submitted with pending and hasn’t changed. My expected decision date also has always said early march.
@name121212 i believe they changed it this morning to just “march”. it used to be “early march”
OK just checked son’s portal and they changed his to ask for more info on an incomplete requirement. Kind of wigging out but need to wait until tomorrow to get more info. He took Intro to Design as part of Project Lead the Way which when he took it was considered a VAPA class. Now they are saying it doesn’t. Confused since he was accepted to Fullerton with no issue but SDSU says it doesn’t count. Of course their phones are not working properly so have to wait until tomorrow most likely and then he can go see his counselor about it. Frustration beyond belief. So they are making progress as that was just updated today. His did change the other day from beginning of March to sometime in March. SO who knows. He has until 2/28 to fix it so guessing they will release decisions after that.
@Bean981: You are a CA resident? Is the course listed for his HS on this website as an approved a-g course?

Thanks @gumbymom. He finally got through to sdsu and it was one words missing on how he input it. Had to change from intro to design to intro to engineering design. All was fixed.
@Bean981 great news!!
@gumbymom I looked at the link you provided since he is local and SDSU is his local area and funny thing is for his school he put in the title correctly but SDSU apparently didn’t recognize it. Oh well it should be fixed to their liking so that is all that matters.

@Bean981, it sounds like my son is having a similar issue with his application.
In December, we were confused that he didn’t get in when early admissions came out (not to be presumptuous, but his stats are very high). After contacting the admissions office at that time, we learned that he needed a separate transcript sent to SDSU from the community college where he took 2 classes, even though those classes are reported on his high school transcript. We did that some time ago and figured he would eventually hear he was accepted.
Yesterday, he got an email from SDSU saying his application was incomplete. After getting in to the portal, he received notification that he did not meet the English and Foreign Language requirements for admission. He has taken 4 years of English, including AP and Honors classes, and 4 years of Spanish, including AP, exceeding their admissions requirements. All 4 years of both subjects were competed on the application, using the names of the classes exactly as they are in the high school transcript, per the instructions, so it was very unclear what the problem was. He went ahead and updated his grades for first semester. From your post, it looks like the problem probably is the title of the classes (ex. “Intensive English”) -perhaps SDSU does not recognize that course title. Kind of odd, since he attends a public CA high school and it is a standard course offering there.
He has no interested in calling the admissions office and asking about it. I had hoped he would be interested in Weber, but he now has many acceptances from EA schools and really doesn’t see himself living in San Diego, so we may never get the issue straightened out. Pretty frustrating, though!
I have completed 3 year’s of honors/ ap english and currently enrolled in my senior year of english, making 4 years
and 3 years of science course,
3 years of english, currently in 4th year
I have completed or am enrolled in all courses but for math I took algebra 1, geometry, and i am currently enrolled in algebra 2. will being enrolled my senior year instead of already had taken it effect any admissions decision?
does SDSU only look at stats and nothing else
