SDSU FALL 2019 Transfers

Yes hopefully soon! I’m a Mesa grad but the Grossmont Transfer Center said ADT decisions will be made after today. Fingers crossed!

As a much older non traditional student I’ve waited a longgggg time for this. Lol @dogrunner1

@IsntThatSpatial best of luck to you and everyone else still waiting??

I mai am also transferring without ADT for geological science and have not heard anything and my portal status still says pending. Best of luck !

@IsntThatSpatial ive done a lot of research. it also might be on their website. I have called and confirmed with their admissions department though several times. Your ADT boost only works though if they accept ADT for your major, not every major accepts it. For example Business-Finance does not accept ADT (so it will not increase chances) but for Business-Financial Services (they accept ADT so they give priority admissions and gpa boost). You can find more info on their website about which majors give consideration for ADT

@connormcmahon3 Right on. I have been all over their website and I haven’t found anything about a GPA boost but if you have called and confirmed with them then shoot that’s great to hear.

Hopefully will hear back sometime next week. I hope earlier the better. I have transcripts that need to sent to CPP that are due by the 25th.

Hey guys! Just wanted to let everyone know that my portal says my ADT has been received and has a green check mark next to it. Hopefully they send out decisions soon!

I have a question for anyone not getting an associates…or anyone that can answer!
I’m an admitted transfer, nursing major. I’m not going to get my associates or anything like that from my CC. A woman who works in my transfer center mentioned something about getting my GE’s certified? Does anyone know anything about that, like if it’s necessary? I contacted SDSU but they haven’t written back.

Major?

I’m a nursing major

@IsntThatSpatial what is your specific major so i can double check that they allow ADT benefits for that majorr

Foundations of Geography which is an approved transfer pathway for the ADT. Can you provide a link with what you find for these benefits?

I’ve looked all over SDSU website so I’m just not sure where you’re getting this information from? @connormcmahon3

@IsntThatSpatial it can be hard to find. But you can see it right here on CSULB website, which i had verbally confirmed with them as well. I have also asked SDSU about it multiple times because i wanted to make sure I could use it for my specific major and they said yes. https://www.csulb.edu/admissions/associate-degree-transfer-program-adt

Cool man, thanks. Is your ADT still showing a red X or do you have a green check for SDSU? @connormcmahon3

Does anyone still have red X on their ADT verification?

@gdln012 I still have a red X. Do you or are you green check marked?

@IsntThatSpatial I still have a red X on mine. Okay I was worrying since I read that someone has a green check already, but I guess it’s going to take a while for it to get updated.

@IsntThatSpatial both my gf and I still have red X’s as well. Im sure the rest will be updated Monday/Tuesday

I’ve never looked forward to a Monday so much in my entire life. My bday is on thurs as well so it’s either gonna be a great day with an acceptance or a bad one with a denial.

Good luck, man. @connormcmahon3

Do you guys know when they might start letting those of us without an ADT know? Last year it looked like around the 21st-22nd. But Monday would be nice too :).

I think you’ll hear back this week. If not this week for sure by April 1st. @firefox952
