second opinion

Hi, its the last day to update the uc app, and this semester i am thinking of dropping a cultural anthropology class. if i drop it i will still be a full time student, and my igetc will already be completed, and i dont need the credits, and it would appear that its not a pre req for my major political science at any of the schools, i should be ok in dropping it correct?

Hey @nichtszumachen

While I will personally always recommend taking an anthro class,
if you do not need it for your IGETC, units, or pre-req and the course isn’t something you feel inclined to take at this particular time I would think that there is no problem in you dropping it.

I find it a very interesting class, but the teacher just is not that engaging whatsoever.

Well, anthropology is some seriously great stuff to delve into, but I’m kind of bias.
Anyway, it’s all good if you don’t actually need to take the class for anything and it doesn’t float your boat, why spend your money and time? You could use that time for doing something else you prefer.

Drop it if you want. Just remember to update your UC application if and when you do.

One more ?, on the berekely app, if i took a semester o german i only list that one semester correct? I am taking the second semester of it now and dont know if i should list it as well.
