Self-reported midyear error? Help?!

For USC, I asked my parents to report my midyear report grade and I had told them that I was up in the air in terms of being rounded from a D to a C in my AP Calc class. They assumed that I did, even though I didn't, and reported that I got a C on my midyear report. I already talked to my admissions counselor, sending him a follow-up e-mail explaining the whole situation. I'm going to be sending in the real transcript soon and it will have the D. I'm just worried that it might be misconstrued as trying to pull a fast one on admissions or something. My counselor said I'd be aight and perhaps I'm being a little paranoid but I'm just wondering if I actually will be in terms of not raising suspicion and junk. I pretty much know my admissions will be affected, haha.

Why did your parents fill it in and not you?

You should trust your counselor - you’ll be fine. Since you immediately took action then they won’t hold it against you. It’d be different if you didn’t say anything and the school found out by themselves.

I just asked them too, haha. The USC website is a real pain…and I was pretty tired so I didn’t feel like dealing with it :p.
