Self reporting AP score for application?

Has anyone self reported AP scores to Pit? Is it something they would want to see on the activities/awards resume? I don't want to pay to have them sent until after she chooses a school.

Hello @Bella88,

I am a staffer at Pitt’s admissions office and I just wanted to let you know that we don’t take AP scores into account in the admissions process. The application, transcript, SAT/ACT scores, and (optional) supplemental materials are all you need to send us. Once students are admitted, they can submit AP scores and have a conversation with an academic adviser about getting course credit.

Thanks!

Can I still submit supplemental materials (the 3 essays) and being reviewed?

@Hellowworld, If you have already submitted your application, you can send in the supplemental materials seperately by emailing it to oafa@pitt.edu. Send a PDF attachment with your name, address, and date of birth on it so that we can match it with your application.

I will say, that once we consider your application complete (app, transcript, test scores, application fee) the Admissions Committee will put it in the queue to review. You should get any supplemental materials in as close as possible to the time you submitted your application if you want them to be reviewed with the rest of your package.

Thanks!

Thanks @hailtopitt1787!
