Self-reporting grades on Common App: More than one high school transcript

Hello everyone. I’m a rising senior and I had a question about self-reporting grades and courses on Common App.

I have been to two high schools, and my old school had much different grading scales and course names than my current one (it was also out of the US). My current high school transferred the credits according to their own course catalog and grading system. If I self-report the grades/courses the way I actually took them at my old school, would I also need to ask for an official transcript from them? Should I only follow my latest transcript instead? What would be the recommended route?

Thank you!

Almost all colleges only ask you to report your senior year classes, not your grades or past courses. For the rare college that asked for a self report of old grades, report those from the old school using the old school scale. Your new school should have your transcript from your old school. Regardless, you are not the first transfer stubent age you HS so your counselor will know what to do.

Thank you @skieurope. The Common App profile asks for information 9th through 12th grade, so that’s why I was conflicted between how to report the grades.
