Self-Study Advice? (Psychology)

So recently, I've taken a very strong interest towards psychology. I regret not being able to enroll in it since I chose European History, but still, I feel that I can teach myself some valuable information.

I've searched through threads and came across stories of people self-studying, managed to do it within 2 months, 3 days before the exam, etc and managed to earn a decent score. I wanted to the same and just wanted people's feedback on how I can earn myself a 5 on the exam as well as gaining a good basis of knowledge on psychology.

I think the most common trend is to buy the AP Barron's Psychology and read it thoroughly over and over. Is this really enough? Should I resort to a textbook and how much should I study with about 3 months left till the AP Exam?

Thanks in advance for advice!

I’m pretty sure that’s enough unless you want to accompany Barron’s with PR, but my friend said he would do well on the exam if he had just Barron’s.

I heard Barron’s is sufficient, although I really like the 5 Steps book as well!
