Self-Study AP Gov?

I may consider self-studying AP Government this coming year, but I have some questions.

How hard would it be for someone who knows a decent amount about government and parliamentary procedure already? Obviously I would study for the exam, but i'm curious about how much I may already know.

I self-studied for AP US Government, and I got a 5. If you know basic information about government (for example, how many years senators serve), then you shouldn’t have a problem studying on your own.

AP Government is the best AP class to take. My friend and I both got a 5.

yeah so if you follow politics and understand congress thats a lot of it. Know about demographic questions (some of the answers are not what most think), the constitution + some amendments, basic bureaucracy, and some supreme court stuff.

I think if you do have a pretty good understanding of government now thats a start. I got a 5 pretty easily.

It wouldn’t be tremendously hard, but the curve on US gov is pretty harsh so you have to have it all down pretty solidly.
