So I’m a freshman in high school, and I’m debating whether to self study AP Human Geography because I did not take the actual class. Would this be worth it? How long would it usually take to study for it? I hear it’s pretty easy but I’d like to have some feedback regarding it?
It isn’t really worth it unless you are hoping to do something with human geography in your future career. I’ve heard that many colleges do not accept the credit, and self-study AP’s just for the sake of AP do not help your transcript.
If you really want to learn it for the fun of it, you can usually just buy a Barron’s book or Princeton Review book online and learn most of the content from there. A quick google search should be all you need. Good luck!
As someone who does admissions interviews, I would say to spend more time in doing well in your classes and to get invoved in Extra curriculars and Community service.
Thanks so much! Appreciate the advice
