Thinking about taking a seminar but not too sure. Does it take up a lot of your time and does it give a lot of homework/work to do outside of class? For those who had taken seminars.. was it worth it?

Also, can it be added to your schedule even if you have 4 classes already?

They don't take up much time - they can't, being a measly 1 unit and all.

Rarely any homework.

Think of them as "enrichment" classes -- you're probably not bound to learn anything useful for your other classes, but it's interesting to see other things that happen in the field. And you'll get to talk with a professor on a slightly less intimidating level.

Registration works as if it's any other class -- max 19.5 units before the quarter starts, 22 units thereafter.
