Send current SAT or send ACT Dec.?

I have a bit of a conundrum; right now, I have a 2270 on the SAT, taken earlier this year. Up until now, I had never tried the ACT, but I took one on a whim, and got a 35. While I might get a lower score on the ACT, I doubt that will happen. So my question is, when submitting regular decision apps, should I mark on my apps only the ACT, and not submit the SAT, or should I submit both? Dec. ACT scores come out around Dec. 29, so it should be alright, but I’m not sure, so I turn to you CC!

I’m unclear. Is the 35 ACT an official score or is it on a practice test? Are you planning the take the official ACT in December? It’s prudent to wait for the score before sending it. In any case send the 2270 SAT. If you get 34 or higher on the ACT then send that too.

@fogcity No it’s a practice test, but I think I can replicate it in real life. In any case, I’m probably going to take a few more just to see if I can replicate it before I sign up. If I can replicate it on some more practice tests, I will be taking it in Dec. I will probably check the score on Dec. 29, and send it if it is good. My question was, should I send the SAT first, because the ACT might not arrive on time, or just send both?
