So I’m taking the December 12th ACT, and it will be my first official standardized test. I’m about to print my ticket, but when I’m looking back at my profile, there’s the option to send scores… I’m a junior, so it wouldn’t make sense to send scores anywhere yet, right?

Good to sending scores - already paid for, colleges get good news early if you do well
Bad to sending scores - If you do poorly colleges have that info.
Most people recommend not sending (if you can afford to send later) until you see how you did
There’s almost no good reason to send them early. Yes, you’ll save yourself $12 for each of four colleges, but as a junior, the chances are extremely good you’ll change your mind where you’re applying anyway.
If you do well and want to send them to schools after you have your score, you can still do that. I’d definitely wait.
