<p>Should you send AP scores when you apply? I self-reported them on the Common App already; do colleges consider those? I did really well on AP tests and want the places I apply to take that into account, but I also don't want to pay the fee to send them if self-reporting is good enough for now.</p>
<p>Unless your prospective colleges consider AP scores in lieu of SAT II scores (e.g. NYU), sending in scores is a waste of money. Send the scores after you are accepted. AP scores carry little to no weight in college admissions.</p>
<p>Even if you were to send the scores, they could possibly be sent straight to the registrar’s office for credit purposes, and bypass admissions entirely. </p>
