Sending in ACT scores free?

My school holds an official ACT/MME/Keyworks test every year in March, so I'll be taking the ACT in one week. I know that ACT allows you to send your scores to four colleges for free and I've been contemplating on whether or not I should put any colleges down. My teachers have suggested doing it since it'd save money and save some hassle. However I'm not too confident on this test, since I haven't been doing too hot on the practice tests. I'm roughly guessing that I'll most likely get anywhere from a 25 to a 30 for a composite score. This will be the first time I take it and I'm most likely going to retake it a couple more times, so is it a good idea to send in my ACT scores to my reach schools that are looking for a composite over 30? Or should I just send them to my safety schools and those that require ALL scores?

Might as well send it to the schools that require all scores.

If finances are a concern, you should send scores to four schools where you are relatively certain you will apply, starting with schools that require all scores, then to your safeties and finally moving up your list based on selectivity. If finances are not a concern, it’s best to wait until you are actually submitting your applications and choose school by school which scores to send.

I recommend sending at least one or two while it’s still free, even if you think your scores aren’t going to be the best. Send the scores to the colleges that are either your safeties or those that superscore. Either way, by sending them in, you aren’t negatively affected either way.
I didn’t send in my scores when they were free, and now I’m regretting it after spending almost 100 dollars just on ACT Scores.
