<p>The quote in that e-mail - “Please complete the form and fax it to our office no later than Friday, December 11, 2009” - made my heart flutter a bit! I’d say that’s a good sign.</p>

<p>@Toward the same thing happened to me. There’s a separate thing that needs to be filled out by the counselor that isn’t easily noticed when you do the common app. You need to print off this page (<a href=“http://www.ugadm.northwestern.edu/pdf/ed.pdf[/url]”>http://www.ugadm.northwestern.edu/pdf/ed.pdf</a>) and give it to your counselor immediately because it’s different than the thing you did online. Have your parents sign it tonight and give it to your counselor tomorrow to sign it. Have him fax it at that moment and keep trying until the line is free. Then send if on next day delivery mail so it arrives at the admissions office. I did all of these things after receiving the same email as you and my file was fully complete in two days.</p>
<p>If they want it by “no later than Friday”, doesn’t that mean they won’t release until after Friday? So more than likely we hear Saturday at the earliest? Anyone support my logic? </p>

<p>I read “no later than Friday” sort of as “We’d like to be working on things Friday”…I dunno. xD Maybe I’m just overly excited!</p>

<p>Most colleges send in after 3pm or so. I don’t think we all need to be obsessively checking during school (but prob will).</p>

<p>From the looks of it, it looks like if it’s Saturday, it will be in the morning. If it’s a weekday, it will be after 3pm. Assuming it’s central time? Or is it eastern?</p>

<p>@Toward I don’t think it should delay your decision, they’ve most likely already determined your admittance and just need the agreement to officially admit you.</p>
