Sending SAT scores to 4 schools

I'll be taking the SAT on January 26th and I have the opportunity to send my scores to 4 different schools for free, but I'm not sure I want to risk doing poorly and having my top choice schools see my low scores. I'd rather wait until I see what my scores are before I send them to some of my top choice schools, but then again, I'd rather not waste this opportunity to send the scores to 4 schools.

Should I enter my top choice schools anyway?
Should I enter a few safety/low match schools that would be impressed with scores that aren't necessarily perfect?
Should I not send them anywhere and wait until I get them first?

Do not send them.

The way to send scores is to wait until all your scores are in, subject tests and SAT 1. Then send everything all at once. The collegeboard charges each time you send it, but they don’t charge more if you are sending more stuff.

You’re most likely going to have to send subject tests to your number one school anyway. Don’t send them, just wait.

Send them to a few safety school.
Wait until you get all of your scores before you send them to your most competitive schools. You can save money by sending a few free. Best of luck.
