Regarding score sending, college board says you can send scores to up
to four colleges of your choice on test day. What if I want to receive my scores
first and then decide if I want to send it to a particular school? What should I do in this case?

Secondly, many colleges say that they require two SAT subject tests. I will be taking five however, can I send all my scores? (Just to showcase my academic talents)

All answers are greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)

I get your point. I am still a junior at current. I won’t be applying until the end of
2012. So what will colleges be doing with my scores if I don’t yet have an admissions file?

What we did . . .
Make a preliminary list of likely target schools summer before Junior year
check testing requirements and reporting requirements
Choose 4 schools that either specify that they look at highest scores and expect them to improve with 2nd sitting or specify that all scores must be submitted no matter what (Stanford) and score choice or witholding scores is not an option.
Once we decided on the schools, we sent everything to the same 4 sight unseen. That way there’s no question that the reports are complete and it saves money. As it turned out - D applied to 3 of the 4 so one school out there has scores that won’t match up with an application. D will apply to 2 state schools that only require one set so we will order those. Scores are expected to come in Junior year for senior year applications, and are just held in data base and matched with application via name and social when application arrives.

I suppose one reason to hold off sending scores if you’re a junior is that there may be some school that don’t have score choice now that might have it next year. The downside is fees for sending the scores later.
