Sending SAT scores

Hi!

i took physics subject test in june and i chose some schools
to send my score.

well, i didn't do so well. but i can send my scores when i apply, right?
so i don't really have to select schools at that moment when i am registering for a test, cuz sending my scores afterwards make more sense since i would know my scores. so if i were to retake physics and send the scores when i apply for a college, will i be alright?

i am in class of 2010.

also i am taking sat this october, say i do bad, colleges won't know since i can pick my grades? but i told CB to send my physics score so i am worried.
please share some of your great insights! thanks!

College Board has not precidely defined how its score choice for 2010 applicants will work. However, currently, you do not need to designate any college to receive the test on your app to take the test. You do that if you want "free" sending. If you wait to send a score after it comes out, you are charged a fee for sending to each college.

Note, if you already took tests and designated colleges to receive them, those colleges will most likely have those scores when you apply next fall (and will be able to match those scores to your application); nevertheless, if you retake and score higher, they will likely consider only the higher score.
