<p>I'm planning on applying to ND early action this fall, and had a question about sending my scores. I got a 34 on the ACT, and a 2240 on the SAT. Should I just send the ACT? I'm asking this mostly to cut down on the costs of sending the score reports. Thanks!</p>
<p>that's so weird! i have the same question but with a 35 ACT and 1510/2240. would they like to see that you did well on both tests? also, what about sat II's?</p>
<p>Yea I just received my SAT II scores and they were not as good as I had hoped. I know that ND doesn't require SAT II's anyways, so that's why I think that I can just send in the ACT.</p>
<p>First of all, Notre Dame is not seriously considering the writing section of the new SAT yet. So if you think your combined math and verbal is better than your composite ACT score, send in your ACT. I am partial to the SAT. In my opinion, I think it means more to score well on the SAT than on the ACT just because I think it's a harder test.</p>

<p>1500+/2200+ SAT and 34+ ACT are pretty comparable scores, both would qualify you for the Honors Program and possibly ND scholar status as well (depending on GPA), if that is something you are shooting for. If you have taken SATIIs and your scores are good, you may as well send in those SAT scores so that they can see them. They are not required for admission, but they can only help if they are good. I had a 34 ACT and a 2320 SAT and I sent in both. @ihaterunning, I'd suggest that you send in your 35 ACT, that's a pretty impressive score. @alyssieann, both your scores are good, ACT might be slightly higher (I'd have to check the conversion table), but if you took SATIIs, you should probably use the SAT, so that you can send those in as well.</p>
