Sending Subject Test Scores to No Score Choice Schools

So basically, I got a 35 on my ACT, but only a 2200 on my SAT score (which I know isn’t a bad score but is worse than the 35 and lower than the middle 50% of the schools I’m applying to). Some schools require SAT with Subject Tests or ACT with Writing. I got pretty good Subject Test Scores (800 and 760), so would it be worth sending my entire SAT score history? Or would my lower SAT scores make my application look worse and be a waste of the money?
I’m still not sure if subject test scores being optional for kids sending ACT scores is like “optional” essays, where to stand a good chance of admission you have to do them.
Thanks in advance!

Where are you applying? Honestly, with a 35, the 800 and 760 would definitely add to your application. A 2200 is not a bad score and would probably go to show that you were successful in both tests. Also, what was the score makeup of the 2200 (this will be important as well before deciding submission of it).

First, a 2200 will not make your app look bad. Second the colleges states ACT with writing OR SAT with subject tests. They’ll use the higher (in this case the ACT). Why bother with the SATs at all? If you don’t get in it won’t be because of your test scores.

Other than possibly Caltech, to which colleges are you applying for which a 2200 SAT is lower than the middle 50% range? Your scores are high enough to send all. For those that accept the ACT in lieu of both the SAT and subject tests, you should send all because they may not consider the subject tests at all unless you send SAT. Moreover, if the college requires all scores, you need to follow the requirement.
