Do colleges look at your senior AP exam grades, post acceptance?

Not thinking about slacking, just would like to take off some of the pressure.

BTW I apologize if this is the incorrect place to post this question.

They look at them, but only to determine if you get credit for the course. Technically, for most schools, AP grades are either a minuscule factor or not a factor at all in admissions, so your admission won't get rescinded if you get all 1's, if that's what you're asking.

yes, they dont really care what you get, but the scores are used for placement/credit.

If you have a AP scores from your Jr year in the 4-5 range, it can't hurt to have them sent to the colleges you are applying to.

I don't want to just slack off my senior year, I've gotten 5s on all my APs but Chem in which I got a 4, so I have no intention of working less. I just want to know if I can afford to add AP calc to my course load in addition to my 5 other AP courses. It will be just as much work during the senior year, but come May, it would be less stressful knowing I don't have to score under the same amount of pressure.

You GPA will the the single most important factor in college admissions, so don't overload yourself with AP's because it "looks good" to colleges, if you can't maintain your grades. Only take the classes that you can handle. At the same time, colleges, especially the "elite" colleges, do want to see that you have taken the "most rigorous" course load possible, so you need to find a balance that works for you.

senior scores ONLY matter for course credit and/or placement in a higher level course. Heck, once admitted, you don't even have to take the tests if you don't want credit or the college does not offer it. For example, many Calif seniors take AP Gov, but some private schools (H&S, to name two) won't even recognize a 5 for credit. Thus, those seniors just skip the test and save $85 (since we have to pay for the individual tests).

I would not send any more money to CB by sending official AP score reports. Just self-report the scores in the "Other" section of the app.
