revoke my acceptance?

I am fairly certain that UCLA requires 3.0 unweighted for each semester. You can log into the decision site at https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Decision/Login.aspx and look up your Provisional Admission Contract to make sure.

You will need to report the less than stellar grades to UCLA if you failed to meet the Provisional Admission Contract. Offer an explanation and propose a way to remedy the situation (retake classes, enroll in summer school, etc.). Visit [Admitted Students - Reporting Changes - Freshmen - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/NewBruins/Changes_Freshmen.htm) to report your grades.

Thanks Ms. Sun.
I checked my contract, and it’s said that i have to maintain overall unweighted B average. I am really confused about that word “overall.”

Also, shall i report the grades right now or after i finish my second semester? thanks.

For other UC campuses, “overall” usually means the average of both semesters. Did you calculate your GPA using a-g courses only?

I’m always for reporting early, since that gives you plenty of time to negotiate with the campus or come up with a backup plan. Getting revoked in August is the worst possible thing that could happen. If you report the GPA, you may very well just get a “do better next semester” email from UCLA, but at least you know where you stand.

do a couple of B’s matter? My first semester I had UW 3.8 and I think this semester I might get like a 3.4~3.6… 2A’s and 4B’s.

@doremi144, you should be fine.
