ED and EA dates for the school i plan to apply is Nov.1. However the first quarter in my school ends on Nov 4th. So when i send in my transcript i will most probably not send my first quarter senior grades. Would this be a problem?

I'm sort of in the same situation you are, except first quarter ends on Oct. 24. Quarter grades aren't officially reported on my transcript, but I still might try to send them as a supplement. This is what I've been told about the senior grades: if you can't get your 1st quarter (or term, etc) grades for EA or ED, then the college will (obviously) use your frosh-junior years (or in some cases just soph-junior). But even if you've already sent in your app, you may be able to still mail your grades to the college (you'll have to talk to the college and your counselor about this).

EA/ED admissions are based on you grades through jonior year. You will still have to send in mid-year report and final transcript, but the decision is made based on previous grades.

Lots of EA/ED applicants go to schools on the semester system, so there's no way their transcripts can have any grades from senior year. Like nngmm said, EA/ED admissiosnm are based on grades through junior year. You are also required to report what courses you're taking senior year. If you're accepted, your admission is contingent on your mid-year report (if your college requires it) and your final transcript. Drops in senior year grades can lead to loss of scholarships or revocation of admission itself.

express ship them right after school on the fourth!
