Senior projects

What have you all been doing for your senior projects?

No one doing a senior project?!!

I have to do an easy 10 page paper on whatever topic i choose. then i have to get field experience then have a presentation in two months.

Trying to create a game on Macromedia Flash :S its going pretty slow cos I don't have much motivation hahaha... animation is so ***ing hard and takes such a long time. *groan

That is because you don't know how to use flash all that well.

Besides, I thought games were usually made in shockwave studio.

Lol yes I know that ): which is why its my project.. I'm supposed to learn it..
Unfortunately, my mentor doesn't really know how to use Flash either :S!!
Do you know any good Flash books? XD
This is pretty much all I've accomplished so far: http://www.neondivine.com/game.htm ):

Anyways, most of the games on newgrounds.com are made from Flash, aren't they?

I have to write a 7-10 page essay on a book of my choosing- I picked Pride and Prejudice. ^^ Oh yes, it has to be a literary analysis with a works cited and such.

I'm working with the Constitution Center in downtown Philly, plus writing a long research paper, and putting together a portfolio and a presentation. :/

Proposals due in a week. Ahhh. X)

senior project needs to die..i'm glad i'm presenting in 2 weeks

i have to invent something. Thankfully that if for next year and I get to have a partner!

My school forces us to do senior projects, and they have to be career-related (research paper, powerpoint presentation, and all that fun stuff)....ugh.

I made a 20 minute educational video at the Smithsonian- National Zoo conservation research center in virginia last spring when I was in HS. Stayed at their facilities for 3 days over spring break, toured the facilities and interviewed many of the zookeepers and researchers there. Mine was an unusual case because my teacher had colleagues in the Smithsonian that were able to grant me government clearance, but senior projects should be based on your interests and you should have the liberty of choosing how you want to present your ideas and findings. For students suffering restrictive and conventional projects, I would try to petition your schools to give you more freedom. There are many good arguments you can make.

independant student project on any historical topic from the renaissance to the present. we basically have to write a 6-8 page essay about it. i'm doing the russian constructivism (art movement) and how it resonates today... it's awesome though how we got to choose any topic we wanted to do.

as for my other course (french), i have to do some research about the realism movement and its influence in french literature. have to do a 20-minute presentation (yes, in french) on the subject and also write probably a 4-6 page essay (yes, in french lol)... blech. i don't like this project but what can you do...
