Hello! So I have quite the dilemma! This may seem incredibly trivial but I am so stressed because of it! Any help would be appreciated!
Here is my current senior schedule:
AP Lit
AP Euro
AP Psychology
H Theology (Religion is required)
Regular Pre Calc
Gym (one quarter)
Now I am also a dedicated French student, and have goften very good grades every quarter for the last three years (I love it!). I always planned to take 4 years of French. However, it conflicts with H Creative Writing - an elective taught by my favorite teacher (one who has improved my writing immensely), so I have to pick one or the other.
I am leaning towards CW, because I’ve wanted to take it for as long as I’ve known it exists, and I think it may help me more in the future. However I love French, it was always my favorite class! And if I take CW I will have 1.75 study halls, whereas if I take French 4, I also have to take H Ohilosophy (necessary to fulfill liberal arts credit needed to graduate - CW would fulfill it also) which is half a year, giving me 1.25 study halls (gym is one quarter).
I know no one can make this decision for me, but I know I should think of college admissions also, and I know they like 4 years if a language. I just don’t know what to do. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thank you!
Also…this may sound SO dumb, but I don’t want colleges to think my schedule lacks rigor or whatever cause I have 1.75 study halls. I don’t know! I’ve just overthought this so much!
