Senior Year 1st Quarter/Semester Grades

<p>How important are 1st quarter/semester grades when applying to colleges. </p>

<p>My GPA is not great, but I've had an upward trend since 9th.</p>

<p>My 11th Grade grades are the average for most schools I'm applying to, but 10th Grade grades bring my average down. </p>

<p>However, my senior year grades are straight A's. Will that help me? And how much will it help if at all?</p>
