I'm kind of a borderline applicant for the state schools I'm applying to mainly due to my GPA. It is on the low side for applicants but my SAT kinda makes me competitive. I was just wondering if a really solid GPA in the first semester of senior year could help tip the odds in my favor(around 4.5ish).

If your state school receives your 1st semester transcript then your 1st semester grades will help you.

Make sure your counselor sends your first quarter grades at the very least.
