Senior Year and College!

kk so i have a really hard senior year course with all aps or honors and one normal class. SO my question is how much does getting a C in one or two my honor/ap classes(The rest are B's and A's) during my senior year affect college decisions? I know it depends on the college but i am looking at northeastern, umass amherst, bu, and tufts. SO do u think that one C or 2 will affect their decisions alot or will they take into consideration that i am taking hard courses?

For the most competitive schools, they will care. For the schools you mentioned above (except for Tufts), I wouldn't think that it would affect their decision as long as your cumulative GPA is decent and in their acceptance range. However, I would try for B's in those classes for the first semester since the first semester senior grade is the most current valuation of your academic performance. It's really no big deal if you get C's after you are already accepted but before that, try to do better.

If your grades have a significant decline in your last semester of senior year, colleges can revoke your acceptance status. Many still look at your 8th semester transcript because they want to make sure you didn't slack off.
