Senior Year Classes

Hello CC,

So throughout high school I’ve always been a B/C student in math classes, but all the math classes that I’ve gotten C’s in I have retaken and have gotten A’s. I’m currently in my senior year and I am guaranteed to get a C in my calc class, and there’s no way I can retake this semester since it’s my last year.

How negatively will this affect my early application colleges? I’ve already applied to every school I want to go to. I know that most of these schools will want a mid year report, so what are the chances I get rescinded by collleges such as Purdue or UW Madison?

You won’t be rescinded for a C.
However it presents a problem further down the road - at schools like Purdue, math is weedout. In other words, they give really bad grades to a certain percentage students.
In addition, you would be OOS at one of these two - can you afford paying full costs (without parent loans? - you yourself can take a 5.5k loan.)
