Senior Year Schedule Advice

Hi all,
I’m currently a junior, and course selections for senior year are due in about a week. I intend to major in either Finance or Accounting.

I’ve already decided to take AP Comp and AP Calc BC next year, along with other courses that are required in order to graduate. Due to scheduling conflicts, I can only fit in 1 more AP class into my schedule. (I’ve already taken AP World History, APUSH, and AP Lit.)

As a result, I will have to choose between AP Macroeconomics and AP Physics. I’m not really sure which one I should drop, since I originally thought that I would be able to take both. If I drop AP Physics, will not having 4 years of science in high school hurt me? I’ve taken biology, chemistry, and physics (all honors classes) so far. I’m not really a science person, but I enjoyed physics. However, I feel like AP Macro will be more beneficial in the long run.

What are your thoughts?

Thank you all for your help!

For your career interests, I would say Macro. Does your school really take a year to cover macro?

You’re covered in science; you have the big 3 and since you are not planning to be a STEM major, a 4th year is not make-or-break.

@skieurope‌ For some reason, all AP classes at my school are full-year courses, including macro. The only reason I am still considering AP Physics is because certain colleges like to see that students have studied one of the “big 3” at the highest level possible.
