Senior year schedule recommendations

so i know that part of what colleges look for is a demanding courseload but does me taking 3 AP's rather than 4 make a big difference?

this is my schedule as of now:
AP economics
AP psych
AP calc ab
AP literature
physics
spanish V

but even though i do good in english classes (i got an A in english11AP) i really hate them lol so i was thinking of switching out of it and just taking 2 half year electives - creativewriting/reading&research -

and just for reference im applying to BC, BU, UMaryland, UVA, Umiami, Penn, Georgetown, and Penn state

Well, schools like Penn and Georgetown really look at your courseload rigor, so I'd say go with the AP.

I agree; take the AP Lit class.

Even if you don't like it, if you get credit for it with the exam, then you won't have to take it in college (which is good, cuz you don't like the class).

Plus, with competitive schools like those, having a vigorous course load is better.

so 1 ap really makes that much of a difference

The fact that you did well (not "good" - this makes me wonder how tough your class really is, lol) in AP english last year is a reason enough to take it. If you pulled a B in your AP Lang last year, then colleges would excuse the change, but if you get an A then drop down, it looks rather lazy.

If you don't like English, why would you drop AP Lit to take what seem to be two other English classes? lol

showbiz im not gona use perfect grammar when i talk casually, obviously when i write papers i do. and my 11AP class was hard.. considering i go to 1 of the top 20 high schools in the nation but thats besides the point

and highopes the only reason im doing that is becuase im required to take 4 years of english to graduate so i was thinking i would take 2 english electives instead of the more rigorous AP lit class

I was joking around, don't take it personally. :-)

All I've got to say is that dropping a subject in which you received an A in the toughest class possible will look very dubious on an application, especially at the caliber of most of the schools that you are looking at. Unless you're a BIG math/sci guy.
