and one more thing.... CALCULUS IS AWESOME!

and one more thing.... CALCULUS IS AWESOME!

Haha just got my report card... im actually proud of it considering how little work ive done...
Retail Operations-100
AP Calculus AB-86(weighted) 78uw
Honors English 4-99(weighted) 95uw
Physiology-91
AP Biology-87(weighted) 79uw
US Government-98

And the sweetest thing is that it doesnt even matter!!!!

the whole concept of senioritis should only be applicable to second semester... bc your grades then are not factored in to the outcome of your college acceptance

first semester senior year is huge... according to upenn- its the most important academic semester they look at.

... hey guess whos not going to upenn.... me!!!

why are you not worried about your grades? you going to purdue then? (I think it was you that got in)

AP Gov: B (should be an A by the end of the mp, we're having a ton of projects etc)
AP Euro: A
AP Spainsh: B (hopefully an A if i particpate more)
Human Anatomy: A
Calc Honors: B ( if i actually study for my test on tues could bring it up to an A)
AP Lit: C ( i REALLY need to get that grade up, if i get a B i'll be esctatic)

btw my school doesnt give any +'s or -'s just regualr A, B, C, D, F

nope i dont think im going to go to purdue... my first choice school doesnt ask for midyear grades and even if it did my grades arent bad enough to get admission rescinded after i get accepted. I decided to drastically change my college choices after i made a few visits and all of the schools that wouldve been considered as matches or slight reaches for me didnt impress me. The schools that I ended up liking were my safeties.

Dude, senioritis sucks!!! I have to force myself to get up everymorning...
Economics: A+
APES: A
Pre-AP French III: A+
AP Calc BC: A (I don't know how I pulled it off, but SOMEHOW I did it!)
AP English IV: A+ (My favorite subject!!)
AP Physics: B+ (The teacher sucks, but I suppose that the grade is partly my fault...can't stand physics, so I don't put much effort into it)
AP Calc AB: A

I swear, as soon as first semester is over, it's bouta be SENIORITIS TO THE MAX!!! SCREW SCHOOL!!! Lol

straight A+'s...i think :)

I just got over my senioritis...I'm the val and there is NO WAY I'm giving it up to the boys!!

hmm I think I'm doing very well in all my classes minus Ap Comp (I'm graduating a yr. early so i'm taking a few junior classes).... AP Comp... I adore my teacher and class, but I totally bombed the 1st day of school grammar test (70) and then I think i also bombed the test on "of mice and men" because i totally forgot we had one so i didn't study....

bleh. But that should be pulled up by various homework assignments and stuff, plus a 1.15 weighitng

Everything else I have well over 90 in

British Lit: 88 (Still happy with that since it's 5th in the class)
Philosophy and Ethics: 92 (Not sure precisely, was a 91 and got a 94 on the only test so far, assuming 92)
Physics: 95
Psychology: 90 (but soon to come crashing down, did horrible on a test which counts 25% on the quarterly grade. Never was good in bio, doesn't help that half the kids in the class learned this last year in adv. bio).
Analysis: 93
Modern World History: ??? (I think 95, nothing to change it from progress reports except a 97 on quiz)

While not quite the A+ reports of everyone else on the site, for me, it's the highest I've done yet.

AP Literature- A
AP French- A
AP Government- A
AP European History-A
AP Calculus- D

lol, can you tell I'm a humanities kind of person? ;)

you guys are lucky. I'm pretty much getting straight B's with acception to my JC classes and and AP goverment. also, how are some of you taking more than 6 classes? what kind of schedules do your schools have? some weird block thing? I'm taking 7 and i'm sooo overworked. I'm at school til 7 pm almost every day.

my grades are decent, it just ****es me off that my teachers give like extra homework to us, even though they know we're all struggling with college applications. Seriously, reading like 40 pages of Jane Eyre a night on top of all of our other homework is not possible Ms. J!!

a lot of schools have 7 class periods of like 50 min. long and like a 25 min. lunch

Yeah for the D's in calculus! hehehehehe. :)

I love Calc! We had a long quiz today on implicit differentiation and relative rates. I think I'm one of the few people out of like 30 who actually understood the concepts. Hm... maybe I should try and move up to BC...

new update:

Statistics- A-
English- B+
Writing by Design- A-
Advanced Biology- B
American History- B+/B

How many of your grades are weighted?

Cause i think that's such a wacky system to just add like 10 points to your final grade...
