ASU or U of A.

Indiana (Bloomington) and Alabama (Tuscaloosa)

UC Davis, UC San Diego, Cal Poly

TCNJ.

10char.

I don’t really have safeties. I’m applying early action to at least one relatively easy school, and will scramble for a safety if I get rejected.

Yeah I wish I was able to have a safety, I just need to apply to many schools and learn to like them all.

ITT technical institute

jk

Safeties: BC, UConn, Tuft?

University of Florida :)

UC Davis, I suppose.
Though I’m fairly certain I’ll get into Berkeley. And St. Andrews, which is one of my top choices.

Mizzou, Truman, UCLA, BU

@kiterunner18- You really want to get out of the midwest huh? What do you hate about it so much?

In my opinion, it’s really boring in the Midwest. I don’t think there are as many opportunities here, as well. C’mon, give me credit, though. I’m applying to two state schools for safeties!

Ya I agree, I think one of the most exciting aspects of going to college is getting away! lol

Oh and just for reference, when I said redeeming, I meant in the eyes of others. Like jamesford already pointed out under 10 min for 2 miles isn’t that impressive, I know someone under 9 min. And nor are your legacies.
But I’m glad you have a healthy ego ;)

Cal Poly is ultimate safety.

LOL @ BC, Tufts, UCLA being safeties. Silly HS kids…

lol there are about 15 sub 9 guys out of the two million kids doing cross country/track. breaking 10 is still done by maybe 1000 kids in each class, most of whom are terrible students who run all the time, and considering the average american couldn’t jog one mile in 10 minutes, it’s plenty impressive as an EC regardless of recruiting.

well tufts syndrome prevents it from being a safety, but ucla and bc could be pretty safe for a handful of people. every school is safe for someone, even Harvard. it’s all relative to the applicant.

UCONN and Temple University
