No news. Congrats. That's awesome.

Where do we go to check if they've received our transcripts?

I got an offer from a BB. If I get an offer from SEO I'm gonna to reject it.

hey- yeah i haven't accepted the offer yet. i have a super day with my top choice firm so i'm gunna take my chances and go to that. if i don't get an offer from them, i'm just going to accept seo and let them place me with one of the other firms. it sucks that if you get rejected directly you can't be placed there with seo, but i guess it makes sense. i'll be happy either way. UTlife, do you mind me asking which BB?

To be honest, I really don't want to post that info on this website because I haven't signed anything yet. But, think top three.

that's fine, i wouldn't post it either haha. but congrats! is your offer for IBD?

Thank you! yes it is.

Does anyone know Where do we go to check if they've received our transcripts?

^ Call them!

I actually think they'll call you if they don't have them. The day before I got my offer, they called me and said they didn't have my transcripts but they ended up just misplacing them and found them later. Also, on the application homepage, it should say if they don't have them..

I have my first round interview this Wednesday for GCFL. (I feel so behind compared to most people posting on the board!) Anyways, I was hoping that you could help me out with any information on the first round interview. I know that they ask why SEO, why GCFL, and that they expect you to discuss a current event in the market. Anything else? Will they be asking what corporation I am particularly interested in?

Thanks!

So I got an offer from a BB for S&T and also got an offer from SEO for S&T.

Initially I thought I would do SEO off the bat and after talking to people, everyone assured me that was the way to go.

After reading these boards however, I see that people are opting out for offers outside of SEO over the SEO offer. Is there a reason for this? I thought SEO was the best bet bc of it's network, reach, etc. Am I wrong??

I also received offers from top 3 firms for IBD, but got waitlisted for SEO after my in person interview.

I think SEO is a great program with an amazing mission, however I have to say that I was a little bit disappointed with how they handled their communications with students this year. I know they were in a tough position this year, but by the sounds of everyone's stories combined with my own experience, I just feel as thought the process could have been handled in a way that caused less confusion and anxiety.

Oh well- best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear back, and congrats to those who have gotten in!

kryptikcobra- If you had some level of certainty that SEO would place you with the firm that actually gave you an offer (you may be able to work it out by speaking with hr) then I would personally take SEO.

I think the amount of training and support that you get through SEO before you start the internship really puts you at an advantage once you start your first day.

Has anyone been accepted to Philanthropy this year? I was waitlisted on 2/22 and am wondering if anyone has been accepted to philanthropy yet. The only people I've heard of being accepted are IB or IT...

So seo took away my waitlist letter.

They haven't updated it though so i don't know.

Anyone been taken of the waitlist and accepted?

Im in the same situation as you :(

I'm in the same situation. I think it's all assured that its not gonna happen right now...

Eh, not a surprise. With the amount of offers they've been handing out...

Wow...Mine is still there. Maybe it's good for you guys then!

Mine is still there, too. My friend's is also there (she also applied for philanthropy). Hopefully, it is just taking them longer for them to get through the system. Good luck, Sprinkles (and everyone else)!! :D
