lol so youve been naggin about information just for this guy ? hehehe
anyway what are you doing at the moment? studying at mit? or have you met this guy somewhere else... this is kinda making me curious cause id never imagine a guy from mit to be soo appealing.

spark15 you are right in the sense that there are stronger aspects of korean uni. than yonsei, but this counts everywhere :) I mean I could say that WashU has a stronger premed than Harvard's...

i'm a First Year at Wellesley right now :)
I met this guy through my friends at MIT. This Korean guy is THE HOTTEST guy i've seen in a while, but you know, he's not the "bad boy" type, but the more studious, gentleman, polite kinda' guy..... and for some reason my heart skips a beat whenever i see him.... and the most interesting thing is, I've never been interested in dating back in high school and am not easily attracted to guys...so there's something truly special about him.....

anyway, yes, he graduated from SNU before he came to MIT... so yea.....hehehe

oh crap, didn't know there were CC laws on using non-english languages
i was just asking spark15 to speak in english, and that I agree with him/her in that Korea university has stronger fields than SNU and that Korea University is generally stonger than Yonsei as Korea has a bit smarter and driven students than Yonsei, well imo

Curious Kid:
Just ask the guy out. I know it sounds weird, as it is coming out from a guy, but Korean guys are more sensitive and....sorry for using the word, but more "romantic" than the average man, especially those at MIT. I think if you say that he is as good looking as you see him to be, he should be considerably confident about himself and would like to see a girl ask him out. And dont worry SNU ppl are really shy and do not have a lot of girlfriends. haha

EXACTLY!! he is SO SHY! right now, we're both still at the stage of smiling shyly and exchanging polite comments! and we're both shy ppl! hahaha!
and you know what, it's pretty obvious that we're both interested but none of us wanted to take the first move...

anyway, traditionally i know that Korean men are perceived to be somewhat controlling & abusive towards their partners/GFs/wives, is this still true nowadays? OMG, i didn't even dare to ask him out but now i'm already dreaming about sharing a life with him! Madness! lol!

and waternam, how do you know that SNU ppl are shy and that MIT guys are more "romantic" than the avergae man? just curious, not that i don't believe you, but is there some particular reason why you're saying this? :D

oooops....guess i'm revealing too much personal info.!! this is so typical of me!!! arghhh!!!! I seriously hope he/ none of our mutual friends are CCers!!

haha sorry, I meant Korean guys are more romantic than the average man, I worded it weirdly.
My sister told me about the differences between guys at SNU, Korea and Yonsei university as she's meets with people from all three universities (she goes to Korea University). She thinks that Korean Koreans (Koreans in Korea) are seriously more feminine than normal people around the world...really giving the perception that Korean guys are gay....not joking I started to freak out when some of my friends in Korea started putting their arms around me for no reason and talk so closely to my face, but they're all straight.
I bet he's waiting for you to ask him out....just my opinion cuz Korean guys are really shy, espcially more than somebody who is so "curious"

BTW this is the weirdest discussion, and I dont even know why I want to help Curious kid and the MIT guy go out together.

OMG!!!!!! i can't believe he came to Wellesley!!!!!!! he's not even taking a class here! he just tagged along with his frd to come and have lunch with me!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! i am going crazy!

better cool down for a bit before going back to them..... OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!

dude, korean men are feminine? i thought italian men are the girly type. don't they have like a girly singing voice and always sing about amore? i mean the latin people are so artistic that they are bound to be a little effeminate. greek men were "mentors" to their boys in a sexual way. now, they're not going to be mentors. RIGHT???????????

personal space is smaller in non-us countries dude.

Haha^ I'm reading about Italian culture right now. Interesting how South Italians often stay with their mothers even into their early 30's. Really brings meaning to Everybody Loves Raymound.

Hmmm, I got a parking ticket and had to pay it at my cc. It cost 25 dollars. I appealed it but those greedy people didn't even read my appeal. Sometimes it sucks to park in school parkinglots, huh?

it really figures. women do not like manly men like me. they prefer the effeminate italian men with their ferraris and le tailleur masculin!!..... damn it! lost some of my ego again. i need to find a reservoir that will keep replenishing my ego; which means building a fan club that will worship me and approve everything i do and say.

wow, dash. u really from Turkey? are u here for the "Alatic bonding"? wow. dude, i think there should be "brown-haired korean-Central Asian" bonding, cuz i don't think most koreans are altaic at all.

OMG! i can't believe he asked me out~~ as in going out for dinner, just the 2 of us!!!!! turns out that not all Korean guys are THAT shy! so happy!! :D

sauronvoldemort what are you talking about?? lol am i here for the altaic bonding?? wha the hell does that supposed to mean lol this is freakin funny... well i've just searched google to understand the word "altaic" but didn't quite get what it means by altaic bonding ...-_-;;

btw curiouskid, i think this korean guy is from cc after all LOL... or maybe his friend :) wellllllllllll romance in da air lol
