The ACT site just reported they will be down for maintenance from 11pm Thursday until 5 am Friday. Maybe because they are uploading thousands and thousands of ACT scores !!! Fingers crossed for all you students and parents not so patiently waiting!

Got my scores finally…
To those of you who have received scores: do you think the curve on this test was generous? I’m still waiting.

I’m starting to think I bubbled in the wrong test form or something lmao
I’m not sure…I scored well in the sections I knew I’d score well in and although people are saying science was curved generously I did pretty terrible in it…but that isn’t uncommon for me so It might be as curved as they say. As for writing, a lot of my friends and I all scored a lot lower than we expected to having both taken the test before and studied for the writing section, I don’t know if anyone else experienced this.
And to make matters worse if one scored lower on the writing, it isn’t rescorable in the way it used to be. ACT changed recently the process. It is now just VERIFYING that it was read by the 2 readers and scanned correctly. it doesn’t make any sense.
^I saw that too. After reading old posts on this topic I thought my son’s essay would get a re-read, but it’s only the verification that it was read by 2 readers. Not worth paying $50 for that!
@mjrube94 and just for the record it is now only $40! But still a waste of money.
Still says registered but the “view ticket” or whenever it said instead of view scores is now missing so maybe we are getting close.
I got my score last Friday. I took the ACT International Testing in Hongkong… I believe national testing score should come out earlier than mine… I got a 34 and hope that the writing score is good so that I can say goodbye to ACT…
It is quite frustrating to know that the writing test can not be rescored. I don’t think any exam board would do things like that as it makes no sense to verify that it is read by two raters…
