September ACT-POST your Predictions and Thoughts!

Answer was chloroplasts. That did require outside knowledge, just extremely basic biology though. They were asking what of the following organelles human cells didn't have that the cells that were being tested (plant cells) did.

Chloroplasts are plant only.

@trjohnson.. hmm i dunno then. probably got that wrong.

and @xoxo... how was it not Mozart? When Luc said her music was "beautiful" when she played mozart, that was solely his opinion.

and i think the epidermis one was ONLY choloroplast since humans have nuclei and mitchondria.

lol oh oops. ahh oh well.

yah thats right obama..
and itotally agree xoxo proud..sicnece was unfair it required wayy too much outside knowledge

Definitely didn't do good on reading based on what I"m reading, maybe like 28+, though I could still get 30-32 I think if I got lucky.

xoxo- i dont think that chloroplast was in the passage... but i put chloro only...

I don't think Luc was talking about her piano playing when he said it was beautiful. I think he was talking about the actual piano and the tone of it being beautiful. But I can't remember the other choices for that question.

I put chloro only to. I mean the questions wasn't hard for me but it definatly required outside knowledge. The liter question just really made me mad.

@reloadedxp: answer was because he talked about them so much. If the author didn't elaborate so greatly about how he could just hear a piano and know what kind of things had been through, we wouldn't know he was so much more knowledgeable about pianos than any other piano repair shop owner.

what did u guys get for the writing question that asked why was they included the year he was born?

To jckund, I agree, I didn't find it so I just used what I knew from biology.

That one with 10 ml Dr. Pepper 28.3 and 7up 20 ml with zero it was 10 right. the seven up is 2/3 of it and it gets diluted to around 10.

That's what I put anyway

@obama- because they wanted to show when he first performed at what age.

omg barack..that's like the only english question i was stumped on lol...i put it takes away background info bout his age...but i tink thats worng

@xoxo - it def wasn't him saying the mozart was beautiful on good pianos, because he was just commenting on the narrator.

See I thought it was talking about how he got his knowledge, not how the author knew of it. Oh well, one more question that's going to hurt the score I guess, but I'm still on the optimistic side, 32!!

trjohnson1: sweet, ty dude! :)

Barrack - I put so we'd know how old he was when he performed at the concert

@ reloaded xp - The one about what Luc hated most was a piano being transported by a ship. It said that directly in parentheses in the passage I believe.

kk good

also can someone just really quickly remind what the cookies question was cuz i dont remember

London- your right.
