September ACT-POST your Predictions and Thoughts!

Mozart wasn't the answer.

I wanted to punch that whiny c(u)nt Mikey in the face. He wanted to eat cookies. And the science star section was just me putting faith in karma.

for luc's opinion i put remarks on piano

what about the one that asked why he didn't play upright pianos?

my testing site was a catholic school..i was prayin God was with me when I was taking the Science part lol

i actually said the dr. pepper/7-up one was 30mg/250ml. dr. pepper was 28.3 or something like that and 7-up was 0. i started to overthink the problem and then went back to it and it seemed pretty obvious but now i'm questioning again!

he didn't play upright pianos that were 'buried deep' in the store

The cookie question.... plate of cookies thign was the answer right? I was between scolding from narrator and the cookies.. picked cookies because he didn't receive cookies to keep him quiet---he kinda just took them. Was I right about this?

mintle- i said the same thing...

yes the answer is 28.3... 7-up is zero so it has to be near 30.

as for Luc's opinion, i did POE and got his opinion about the author's piano playing and saying how she played Mozart was "beautiful"... cause that is his opinioin.

upright piano was the one's that were stuffed away

@ wantivy- in the context, it said she scolded mikey so it can't be that. He didnt receive cookies to keep him quiet is right.

pat, how does that work out?
Dp-28.3/250ml
7up-0/250ml
right?
then they asked for 10ml dp and 20ml 7up. it comes out to one thrid 28.3 or 10

10ml isn't 1/3 of 250ml, you're overthinking it

the question was asking what amount of 250ml was caffeine if given in those proportions. if dr. pepper was 28.3 and 7up was 6, then the answer would have been 40.3 (28.3 + 2(6)) but since 7up=zero and dr. pepper = 28.3 it equaled 30

Why would it be 28.3? 2/3 of the solution had no caffeine, and 1/3 has like 28.3 g/250mL or whatever, so this would dilute the caffeine to 10 g/250mL or whatever.

English - Easy. 32+
Reading - Easy but that car passage was BORING 33+
Math - I really have no idea. Maybe Mid 20s to low 30s? That was a lot harder than the practice tests
Science - God knows. Mid 20s to low 30s? But so far I've gotten two questions that I guessed on right YAY

I swear some of that science required outside knowledge. Like the liters and milliliters. I had no idea and it was not in the passage. Same with the chloroplasts, midochondria? and something else. Was that in the passage? Not that it was hard but I spent like 30 seconds looking for it.

It wasn't Mozart. What did everyone put for the "What would Luc hate most?"

Something with spilling drinks on pianos, pianos being reserved for famous musicians.

It wasn't asking for the volume, it was asking for the caffeine concentration, mintlemonade.

ther was a qs like how do u know that Luc know about pianos or sumthing?
was the answer like describing the pianos.
srry vague memory

I chose just the lowest, I couldn't do the math. Then again you aren't supposed to do as much math on that section but it made sense.

yea i know. The dp to 7up relationship is 1:2 right? 1 dp for 2 7up 1ml's. then if you do that same thing on 250 you get 10.

i put pianos for famous musicians

yea reloaded
