Serious concerns about housing and summer B

So i was just admitted to UF as a freshman for summer B. Turns out, because i already have a major surplus of college credits from high school, i am not required to do summer B. I wouldn't mind doing it anyway just to get to know the campus but just in case, is there any way out of it?

Second question: I am still waiting on decisions for 7 other schools and they all come out on April 1. If i pay the housing contract and cancel, how much money do i lose? additionally, if i sign housing contracts for both summer and fall, and cancel, how much would i lose?

I’m in the same boat. I really wish they wouldn’t make the housing contract deadline march 11. I’m waiting on decisions too. I read that each contract is $175, so for us, Summer B and Fall would be $350 total. However, because we’re summer B, I don’t think there’s a cancellation fee. But im not sure

Contact the admissions office. As long as there are people wanting to switch over to Summer B, they will allow to to switch to Fall (of course, you should state financial reasons in your case).

If you are sure about this, act quickly otherwise diffusion ends and no transfers are made at equilibrium, if you catch my drift.
