Serious Problem

I had one final class to take at my CC before transfering to a 4-yr university. I am accepted to the school, have a dorm room, and am registered for classes for the fall at thsi new school. But I got a "D" in my final Statistics class at the CC. I know that the new school will only take transfer credits of "C" or higher. Does that mean I won't be allowed to go to school in fall?
I am a Political Science major but the stat class was a general education requirement.

I dont know if it means that you wont be able to go to school. It means that you wont get credit for that class and will thus have to take it again at your new school at a minimum. They CAN withdraw your offer of admission, but I dont know if they'd do that since I dont know where you are going. Honestly, though, accepting of transfer credits do not equate to acceptance/rejection in this case. It just means you wont get credit for it and will have to take it again.

Worst case will be they'll ask you to change major if your to far off track at most schools. So you might want to call and find out if you cna take the class next semester at your new school, or just switch to like an undecided and then once you've retaken the class switch back into your major.

Totally agree with Selk and Jman. Just relax, you should be clear of any substantial problems. Just enjoy the rest of the summer and start fresh in the fall.

Like if the class was that key for your major at that time or you're screwed they porb wouldn't have accepted you with that major. If you have solid record and have one slipups they aren't going to pull the rug form under you. They accepted you, and since your so far in the process your basically a student at the school and they will advise you thru it.

GOOD NEWS! I talked to my professor, basically begged on my hands and knees, and asked him to boost me up to a C, which I was 11 points away from out of 1000. He told me to write a essay on what I learned in the class, and my aspirations for he future. I just checked online, and he gave me a "C"!!! THANK YOU GOD

Count your lucky stars, and let it be a lesson to you!
Now you can make it a new goal to never have to pester a teacher about a grade again.
You know, in thanks to the lucky stars...
