I'm only a freshman in high school but i have a question. My semester grade counts towards my gpa. So my quarter 1 grade was horrible with 2 d's 3 c's and 1 a. But my semester grade comes in as b b a b d c. If i can get the c and d up to an a by the end of the semester, will my gpa be good?

Semester grades are the only thing
s colleges see, and that
s what figures into your GPA. First + second quarter grades averaged together= semester grades, basically.

It depends if your school weights every quarter. If they do every quarter then you have a 2.0 if you get the semester grades stated above. If your school does every semester then you will have a 2.33.

Good? Not so much.
Fixable? Yes.

Thanks guys, my semester grades are as posted above, so thank you. just wanted to know if they looked at my individual quarter grades.

…you’re finished with your first semester already?

Schools usually count grades 10&11 but you still have time to average out you’re gpa.or retake stuff.

Don’t forget to make the finals count as they add on to your semester grade. But I think they check the transcript meaning that only your semester grade are seen.

No I have sesembler an online gradebook and it shows my semester grade.
