Hi guys. I am in a bit of a time crunch; I have a International Politics final tommorow at 8 A.M., and a huge Expository Writing paper due at 3 p.m. Ideally I'd like to get a good amount of sleep for this test, but this paper will take at least 10 hours of work from here on. I've heard from one of my friends that it would be better not to sleep at all than get a lackluster amount of sleep (3-5 hours). Any suggestions? Thanks

so you have 24 hours until final.

work on paper for 7 hours (more like 5 hours..you have to eat and all that)
take a 2 hours power nap...wake up and be flustered... watch some TV or something...eat something...work on paper for 5 hours (more like 3 hours because of distractions)..go to sleep until 7:15..where you wake up for final...take a shower go to final take test...come home by like 10 and work on paper until it's due...

You definitely would not want to get up after 3-5 hours of sleep. With controlled, small doses of caffeine from tea, you will not feel nearly as lethargic.

I do this every day....I'M RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

Sheed's method takes more time. If this is a one time thing, just stay awake for 48 hours.

yeah just pull that all nighter. Remember good ole saying? Hard work pays off later......

I'll pull an all nighter with you if you know what I mean...

No disgusting implications intended.

All nighters never beat out sleep. You'll be groggy when you wake up, but it won't last more than a few minutes.

Sleep for as long as you can and just be sure to do something to wake yourself up in the morning before the exam. Jog, eat, more study, a video game even.
