Severe housing shortage (~ 300 students without housing)

<p>IV is filled and so is any places close by in Goleta.</p>

<p>I have contacted with UCSB Community Housing Office (UCSB CHO) which has confirmed that there is a severe shortage of housing and there are very few places left and they come and go almost instantly</p>

<p>UCSB CHO has confirmed that I am one of the approximately 300 students who doesn't have a place to stay.</p>

<p>I ask the office for its plan for temporary housing and it has none!</p>

<p>So, I am asking my fellow UCSB students: What should I do???</p>

<p>Did you check craigslist? Did you call everywhere in isla vista? Check the websites of the residences at IV, I remember I saw some offers put up by people looking for roommates. I was in this same boat, I just barely found a decent place in IV. Good luck! Worst comes to worst you’ll be staying in Goleta.</p>

<p>Yes, I did check Craigslist and call all over Isla Vista. It seems that I am not one of the lucky ones.</p>
