SFE-- not your choice

<p>I wanted to get into Unit 1's SFE but didn't get my choice. I called and they said it's easier to transfer students who want the same room choice (ex: double/triple) but different Unit. </p>

<p>So if anyone is interested in going into Unit 2/Unit 3 and away from Unit 1's SFE-- I will happily take ur spot! So call Berkely's housing soon!! I believe they're going to tell people of their roomates in early August.</p>

<p>Also... I am really not into drugs/sex/smoking lifestyle-- they are a huge turnoff IMO. If I'm not in SFE, do a lot of students partake in drugs/sex in the other units? Will I have to witness this everyday? (Yes I know I will probably inevitably face this scenario.. it's college after all... but I'm just curious)</p>

<p>No, if you don’t like drugs/sex, you’ll never experience it. I lived in unit 2 my 1st year, made it really clear to my sexually active roommate that it’s not going down in our room, and it never did (in fact, they ended up bugging our other floormmate since they never used our room). Many students have those very same preferences, you’ll be totally comfortable; you only experience that lifestyle if you actively seek it out/allow it.</p>
